In the city of Missouri in Houston, Texas, Dr. Hamilton has two days dedicated to her which are January 20 for National Human Trafficking Awareness Month and September 7for her leadership and fight at the state of Texas Capitol for juvenile justice and human trafficking prevention. Dr. Nissi Hamilton is the recipient of the National Black Prosecutors Association Profiles in Courage Award, The Paul H. Chapman Foundation of Improvement Award, New Friends New Life ProtectHer Award and she is a two-time Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award recipient for her work in the community. Rescued from her trafficker by joining the US Navy, she is a Navy Veteran who earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor is technical management, MBA in accounting and MBA in human resource management. She also holds an Honorary Doctorate in Global Humanitarianism for her human trafficking advocacy in Uganda, Africa for children who are suffering with HIV and Pakistan for widowed mothers who are forced to marry their daughters as young as 12 to older men for money. Dr. Hamilton is married to Executive Chef Kenneth Hamilton and they have 8 children.

Dr. Nissi Hamilton is an award-winning expert in the field of human trafficking. 

Dr. Nissi comes with five years of painful experience as a survivor of human and labor trafficking. With her multicultural background, Hamilton is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion—making a difference in the decriminalization of human trafficking, poverty, and homelessness with minors.

Nissi’s Network, Inc. is a network of survivor’s and professionals who work together for youth reform and to create crime reduction solutions to end adultification and human trafficking amongst our youth by teaching them how to become prevention experts. Our mission is to provide holistic support and undisputed marketplace leadership for the children of pimps, prostitutes and victims of human trafficking so that they can have an opportunity to lead healthy and successful lives. Our organization assist youth with transition plans that build on their strengths while supporting their needs.  We provide the best quality life skills and the highest level of service to youth as an innovative and responsible manufacturer and distributor of state funded and local resources. We use our knowledge and understanding of youth needs to provide customized unequalled evidenced informed strategies and action plans to prevent youth from the juvenile justice system, while giving at-risk youth the advantage, they need in this competitive environment.
